Wat Pho in Bangkok

Located minutes away from the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho is also called the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. Known for its gilded Buddha statue that’s 46 metres long, the temple attracts both tourists and locals.

There are four chapels that house an extensive collection of Buddha statues, and the walkways are adorned with intricate murals. The courtyards are also a highlight as they feature funny-looking Chinese figurines.

This is one of the most-visited attractions in the country, so tourists are offered a variety of accommodation options close to the temple; it shouldn’t be too difficult to find a hotel in Riverside Bangkok, not too far from the temple.
