Walk Along the Beaches

Easily accessible from most Chanthaburi resorts, the Chanthaboon Waterfront Community is located only 55 minutes away from Chatrium Golf Resort Soi Dao Chanthaburi. The town is home to some of the most pristine beaches fit for an evening stroll to rejuvenate your soul. Make your pick from Laem Sadet Beach, Kung Wiman Beach, Chao Lao Beach and Laem Sing Beach.

Explore the Waterfront Community

The Waterfront Community is a 300-year-old scenic location that stretches along the Chanthaburi River. The history of the Waterfront Community is engraved in its very fabric, which carries traces of influences from Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese and French styles. The area’s Roman Catholic community was born as the Vietnamese Christians took refuge in the city, which resulted in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the biggest Catholic church in Thailand.

Go on a Pilgrimage

The passage to paradise at the Khao Khitchakut National Park only opens between January to March. It is a significant place of worship for Buddhist devotees as the highest footprint of Lord Buddha is located here. As a form of respect, pilgrims trek the tough walk up the mountain to offer their wishes written in red cloth at the top.

Visit the Gem Market

Explore the refreshing waters of three-tier, cascading waterfalls at the Namtok Phliu National Park, as Phliu waterfall has been recognised as one of the most beautiful ones in Thailand. It is also known as the favourite waterfall of King Rama V. To add a hint of adventure to your waterfall visit, why not hike the nature trail that leads up to it?
