Getting Around
Traffic can get chaotic so it’s better to plan transport ahead from your city hotel. Bangkok has several modes of transport be it the underground MRT, Skytrain (BTS), express boats or river taxis. Conventional taxis are also available as are ubiquitous tuk-tuks which offer a unique travel experience.

Cultural Attractions
The 18th century Grand Palace is one of the key cultural attractions here; within easy reach of city properties including those of Avani Hotels & Resorts, it is also home to the famed Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). Other notable sites include the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho) and the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun).

Shopping Fun
When it comes to malls, CentralWorld, Siam Paragon and MBK Centre are a few of the popular names amongst shopaholics. The city also has some colourful markets with the sprawling Chatuchak Weekend Market not only featuring a huge array of items but yummy street food too.

Thrilling Nightlife
Bangkok’s happening nightlife scene is centred around its many clubs and bars such as Beam, Levels Club & Lounge, Onyx and The Club at Koi. The backpacker-friendly Khao San Road offers a more laidback night on the town, while a Chao Praya River dinner cruise offers a whole new perspective of the city.
