1) Grand Palace

Built during 1782, the Grand Palace has been the official residence of Royalty for over 150 years. Within the complex you can find the Wat Phra Kaew temple that features the Emerald Buddha, a stunning statue made utilizing a single stone.

2) Tha Tien Market

This location was a massive transport, trading and cultural centre during the late 18th century period. Today, however, it is much less busy. You’ll find dry fish stalls, seafood stalls, and various traditional shops which include cafes and restaurants as well. You’ll find many places for accommodation spread all throughout the city, such as AVANI Riverside Bangkok Hotel for example.

3) Flower Market

The flower market used to be a fish market during the period of King Rama I. However, once King Rama V came into power it began to focus solely on flowers. Pakklong Taladd today, is the largest wholesale flower market in all of Bangkok.

4) Yaowarat Road

Of all the things to see and things to do around Bangkok, this is the best location for you to taste various local street food in the night time.
