Chatuchak Friday Night Market

While the Chatuchak Weekend Market is hugely popular, you may not know that it’s partly open the night before minus the crowds of Saturday and Sunday. When looking for a hotel in Bangkok Sathorn makes an ideal location choice since you can easily access this Friday market where you can find all manner of items sold on a wholesale basis.

ASIATIQUE The Riverfront

Providing a distinctive market experience, ASIATIQUE The Riverfront is a modern shopping hub beside the Chao Phraya River. Around a 15-minute drive from Chatrium Residence Sathon Bangkok, ASIATIQUE is open from 4:00pm; it features more than 1,500 shops and 40 dining venues as well as live Muay Thai, ladyboy cabaret and a 60-metre tall Ferris wheel.

Neon Night Market

Also referred to as Talad Neon, the Neon Night Market in Pratunam is home to more than 1,000 stalls and is open from 5:00pm to midnight. You can expect to find everything from handicrafts and souvenirs to clothing and jewellery not forgetting yummy street food including seafood delights.

Khao San Road

A hotspot for backpackers, Khao San Road is also a great place to shop while enjoying the nightlife in Bangkok. Apart from restaurants and bars, this bustling road also features market stalls offering sunglasses, various clothing, DVDs & CDs, textiles, jewellery, souvenirs and more. Remember, some branded items may not be “original”!
