If you’re staying at Sathorn Hotel, Bangkok City Gallery is relatively just close by. It is a contemporary art gallery that features work by local artists. Consisting of paintings, videos, live performances and even sculptures it is a must see when visiting this city.

Lumpini Park

Lumpini Park is the physical representation of fresh air, shade, and tranquility. The perfect escape from the bustling city, this park being over half a million square kilometres in size, features a plethora of flora and fauna. It is the place many city dwellers visit for a peaceful evening away from the monotone of the city.

Robot Building

Having first opened its doors back in 1986, the original architect describes the design as inspired by his son’s toy robot. This 20 storey building that features eyes and antennae has quickly gained prominence for its iconic look.

Sathorn Unique

If you’re staying at Anantara Sathorn Bangkok Hotel, not too far away is Sathorn Unique. Abandoned since the year 1997, this 50 storey building was initially supposed to be one of the most luxurious residences in all of Bangkok.
