Fun At Siam Park City

Bangkok's Favourite Amusement Park

Siam Park City is a giant amusement park located in Bangkok, Thailand that opened all the way back in 1980. It provides family friendly fun and is a terrific place for a day outing. Full of fun and thrilling rides, couples and friends on vacation will also enjoy a visit to this place. Siam Park City is divided into two areas- the Amusement Park, which has the usual terrestrial rides, and the Water Park, filled with fun aquatic rides.

The rides in the amusement park area fall into various categories. The X Zone is home to the most thrilling rides in the entire park. Here one can try the Vortex, a looping coaster about thirty metres high, which can reach speeds of up to eighty kilometres per hour; the Condor, a dizzying ride that takes place fifty metres above the ground; the Giant Drop, which is a ride that drops visitors seventy five metres.

The Family World rides are more pleasant than scary and can be enjoyed by small children as well. The Fantasy World rides are somewhat offbeat but they are also plenty of fun. Small World packs in several different rides into a small area. The Water Park contains a number of fun rides and activities. This includes a giant Wave Pool; the Speed Slide, which is about seven storeys tall; and the Super Spiral, which is a convoluted slide.

Bangkok, being a prominent tourist destination, has excellent infrastructure in place to service visitors. The public transport system is quite extensive and is fairly efficient. Although traffic jams are a problem, one can easily avoid them by using the railway systems. Restaurants are plentiful and they cater to a variety of tastes and budgets. Accommodation is easy to find, although it is always best to book one’s Bangkok hotel well in advance.

Tourists can live in luxury and style at the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit Bangkok, a five star hotel with excellent facilities. Not only does the Sukhumvit hotel enjoy a central location, it is also situated right by a skytrain and subway station, which puts the entire city and all its attractions, just a short trip away.
